In The Pause
March 21st 2026 4-6pm
This offering explores how clarity emerges when we reduce interference and give the body time to respond on its own. Participants can expect an unhurried yoga practice with simple, repeated shapes and intentional pauses to feel the effects of movement. There will be extended moments of stillness, minimal cueing, and guided breathwork to quiet mental urgency without suppressing thought.
Guided reflection and meditation will support tracking sensation, timing, and internal tone rather than analyzing experiences or searching for meaning.

What is Embodied Path?
Embodied Path is a space to slow down, reconnect with yourself, and explore life with greater awareness and presence. Through slow flow yoga, you are invited to move mindfully, honor your body’s rhythms, and cultivate alignment from the inside out. In mentorship sessions, I guide reflective exploration, offering practices, prompts, and gentle insight to help you notice patterns and embody the wisdom you discover. Workshops and retreats provide immersive experiences to step away from daily life, combining movement, reflection, and mindful practices to deepen your connection to yourself and your inner compass.
Each offering is designed to help you pause, reflect, and emerge grounded, inspired, and more in tune with who you truly are: without pressure, performance, or pretense.
Yoga
A mindful journey through breath and movement. We honor the body’s natural rhythm, cultivating awareness, alignment, and presence in every posture. Each practice is an invitation to explore your edge without force, to listen deeply, and to reconnect with your own inner guidance. Expect gentle transitions, thoughtful sequencing, and moments of reflection — leaving you grounded, centered, and more in tune with yourself. Perfect for those who crave intention over intensity, and depth over speed.
Mentorship
1:1 mentorship for embodiment, self-trust, and creative exploration, designed for those who want to reconnect with themselves and explore their own inner wisdom. Through guided conversations, movement practices, and thoughtful reflection, you will notice patterns, clarify intentions, and cultivate presence in daily life. This isn’t therapy or life coaching — it’s a space to explore, experiment, and embody the insights you discover along the way. Together, we create practices, prompts, and rituals that help you move through life with more awareness, ease, and alignment with who you truly are.
Workshops + Retreats
These immersive experiences invite you to step away from the rush of daily life and reconnect with your body, breath, and inner wisdom. Through gentle movement, guided reflection, and mindful practices, workshops and retreats provide a supportive space to explore, experiment, and cultivate awareness. Workshops offer focused, interactive sessions to bring insight and tools into everyday life, while retreats provide a multi-day container for deeper renewal, clarity, and connection. You will leave grounded, inspired, and more in tune with yourself.
About Justine Rohde
Teaching yoga since 2012, Justine creates a calm, intentional space where movement becomes a practice of presence, reflection, and connection to your inner wisdom.
Justine’s teaching style blends the intelligent sequencing of Iyengar, the strength and heat of Ashtanga, and the creative freedom of vinyasa. Her classes are thoughtfully designed to help students cultivate awareness, honor their bodies, and explore movement with presence and ease.
Justine naturally guides through invitation, offering mentorship, workshops, and retreats that nurture self-discovery, embodied living, and personal reflection. Her teaching goes beyond movement, helping people connect with their inner wisdom, cultivate alignment, and bring mindfulness into everyday life.
You can find Justine teaching weekly public classes at Yoga Pearl and Boulder Yoga Studio in Boulder, CO.
My teaching philosophy
My teaching is rooted in the belief that yoga is a practice of listening rather than striving. I create spaces that prioritize nervous system awareness, seasonal rhythm, and embodied self-trust, inviting students to move at a pace that honors their lived experience rather than external expectations. Through slow, intentional movement, breath, and reflection, my classes and workshops support resilience that is sustainable, responsive, and grounded. I’m less interested in pushing toward peak poses or outcomes and more focused on cultivating presence, clarity, and a sense of enoughness, both on and off the mat. My work is guided by the understanding that when we feel safe and connected in our bodies, meaningful change can unfold naturally.
This practice has taught me presence, patience, and how to meet life with a little more grace (and humor) along the way. I teach because I believe everyone deserves that same feeling: ease in the body, peace in the mind, and a sense of coming home to yourself.

As someone who’s practiced with Justine regularly, and in yoga studios all over the country, I can say with confidence: there’s truly nothing like a class with her. It takes real skill to guide people out of their busy minds and into presence, but Justine does it with ease. Her classes flow beautifully, grounded in knowledge, intention, and a calm energy that makes everyone feel at home. She’s a magical teacher (and person) and I can’t recommend her enough. Spend one minute in her presence, and you’ll understand why.

On some days, I look forward to Justine's class as I would a slice of chocolate cake. Her introspective practices have changed my relationship to yoga. Justine's presence and intuitive pacing create a sacred space where I feel challenged and intimately connected to my body and myself.

I’ve been taking Justine’s classes for years, following her from studio to studio, because they’re always exceptional. Creative, intuitive, and thoughtfully paced, her classes strike the perfect balance of breath, rest, and movement. Justine’s cues are spot-on, her energy warm and welcoming, her music always on point, and her adjustments are the best I’ve ever had. She’s been my go-to teacher for years, and I can’t recommend her enough.

I already knew that Justine was my favorite yoga instructor, but when my brand new neighbors - 30 years younger than I - encouraged me to go to Yoga Pearl and try out Justine, I knew they were good people! Like yoga itself, Justine's teaching bridges the paradoxical difference between careful, precise guidance while somehow making it feel spacious, imaginative and easeful. She gathers up the whole room into a magical healing arch - we all glow by the end - from both the effort and the deep rest. Go! You won't regret it!
